Until Harmony
Aurora Rose Reynolds
Until Her Series

Harmony Mayson isn’t the kind of girl to take unnecessary risk, but after meeting Harlen MacCabe, she starts to wonder if maybe she should be. The more time she spends with the wild and free biker, the more she starts to crave the freedom he gives her... And even more, she starts to crave him.

Harlen lives his life on his own terms. After losing both his parents at an early age to a robbery gone bad, he knows how precious life is, and he’s determined to get as much out of it as he can. When he runs into the beautiful Harmony and finds out she’s moving to town, he knows it’s time to take his shot. She thinks he only wants to be friends, but she couldn’t be more wrong.

What Harmony and Harlen don’t know is that their time might be cut short. Revenge is in the air, and someone won’t stop until a debt is settled.

There are some series that I tire of quickly. You go through all the siblings or friends then they begin having kids, beginning their stories, and you start to think is this really necessary or do we just need to call it a "they lived happily ever after".

I have never once thought that about the Until series.  I want more, more, and more.  I have remained loyal to Asher throughout the series though I have to say.   That was until I met Harlan and well, sorry Asher.

Harmony is probably the most cautious Mayson that we have ever met throughout the series.  She doesn't take unnecessary risks and has everything planned out. Seeing as she is the daughter of Nico, that comes as a surprise.  Harlan keeps to himself and has never planned for anything close to a relationship for himself but the pull he has to Harmony is one he cannot ignore.

Their story reminds me so much of Asher and November's story.  It was just easy but not without the trouble that seems to follow the Mayson's around every bend.  It is two people that are simply meant to be, simple and laid back.  Neither of them were looking for anything more and let's face it, that is usually when you fall.  It was sweet and full of alpha hotness that would rival the older Mayson men.  For anyone that pursues Nico Mayson's daughter, you have to have the persona to not back down.
Harlan doesn't disappoint.

Overall, if you loved the pervious books in the series.  You will love this.  Until Harmony can be read as a standalone but is part of the Until series.

Venting and Current Read

...tests your lungs and may help you feel lighter...

I had high hopes for this year.  Personally we have had a lot of ups and downs the past couple of years and last year I took a huge blow to my heart with losing my grandmother and my brother.  I have struggled many nights with sleep since then and my anxiety has soared. There is just no off switch with it comes to memories or just thoughts in general.  Then add in the stress of adulting, I am struggling.

The very first part of this year started off bad with old situations coming back to bite us.  It was out of my hands and in the hands of another but it was our mess.  Since then, it has been up and down but as of yesterday.  I can brokenly but honestly say I am done.  The past two days have brought so much to light that I can't believe any more.  With that, I just want to scream.  I don't know which way to turn besides just taking care of mine and covering those bases.

SO with that and what I always do, I escape to my books.

Current read is the new Kristen Ashley 1001 Dark Nights Chaos MC Novella, Rough Ride.  Let's face it, she has never let me down.

Author Interview Evelyn Vox

This week we have a new author to me! I don't know a lot about her but from
these answers and checking out her books, I think I like. 😉

___________________________________________________________________________

Ladies and Gents, Evelyn Vox!

My readers and I are one in the same: we like it dark, and we like it dirty. If you like dominant men, strong-as-hell heroines, and heart-racing plots with lots of kink, then welcome to our wicked little club. My characters will take you on a wild ride as they give into their most forbidden desires, uncovering their truest selves along the way. Always steamy and extra sinful, my romances will have you embracing your dark side in no time.

Evelyn lives in Brooklyn, and some might be so bold as to call her a *gasp* hipster. When she's not busy ordering a craft beer or drinking kombucha, she works part-time at a wellness center. No matter what she's doing, her mind lives full-time in smutland, always thinking of new ways to torture those hunky Alpha males and the ladies they love to play with.

What is something that you wish you knew when you first started writing that would have been great to know now?
Writing is only half the battle. The really challenging part is the marketing and publishing aspect of it.
You have to be able to wear a lot of hats.
Have you ever based a character on a real person just so you could decide their fate (whether it be good or bad)?
No, but I do find I put snippets of people I know in my characters. Little personality quirks or turns
of phrase from real people just wind up in there.
What are three words that would describe your writing style?
fast-paced, sensual, clever
Where is your favorite writing spot?
My apartment.
What is a must when you are writing? Food? Quiet? A furry friend?
Coffee :) Also, comfy clothes and music help.
What is the most research you have ever had to dig into with a character or plot?
My Share Me series explores the in's and out's of a cuckolding relationship. It was a concept I really
wanted to write about, but man oh man, I had to do some major research on how it all works. Can't
tell you how many raunchy blogs I've visited. Sometimes I wonder what my browsing history would
look like to a complete stranger......
What is the one thing that you have immediately regretted googling when you were researching?
Trypophobia triggers (for those of you who aren't familiar, it's a phobia of small holes).
If you could bring any one of your "book worlds" or another authors to reality, whose would it be?
I mean...what answer is there OTHER than Harry Potter?
Currently reading anything?
The Rook & Ronin series by JA Huss! It's great, I'd recommend to anyone.
First Ugly Cry?
The Raging Quiet by Sherryl Jordan was my very first because it's just such a beautiful story.
Also, the Lovely Bones and The Fault in Our Stars (omg that was a MAJOR ugly cry) are memorable
ones.
First Book Boyfriend?
Does Darrien from Sailor Moon count?
First Cliffhanger that drove you crazy till the next book?
I don't remember the first, but I can tell you my most recent: the AWFUL cliffy at the end of
Empire of Storms by SJ Maas. Majorly counting the days until the next book comes out.
A Villain/Bad Guy that you rooted for?
Erik Northmen in True Blood *swoon*
THE book or author that started your dream of writing?
NERD ALERT: I wrote a ton of fanfiction in middle and high school. That's what really sparked
my dream more so than any one author or story.
Do you collect paperbacks or do your prefer your kindle?
I like both! I live in a tiny, stereotypical Brooklyn apartment that doesn't have much room for more
books, so I've been rocking my ebooks hard these days. The second I move, though, I'm getting a
massive bookcase and bringing paper back. Yeah.
A Fun Fact about me:
In the last year and a half, I've dyed my hair all of the following colors (some at the same time)- lavender, silver, dark gray, dark purple, pastel blue, teal, hot pink, pastel pink, coral, neon yellow, royal blue, and auburn. Life's too short to have boring hair. Currently, it's dark brown with some pops of dark blue.
Pet Peeves?
SMACKING LIPS. I just cannot deal. No, NO way. Ugh. Gum is my sworn enemy.
Favorite Color?
Purple
Celebrity Crush?
I'm currently perving hard on Joel Kinnaman right now (Altered Carbon, anyone?), but my all-time favorite and forever celebrity crush is Jensen Ackles <3
Collect anything?
Playing cards!
The beach or the mountains?
Beach, please.
If you could travel anywhere, where would it be?
Australia/South Pacific
If I wasn't afraid I would?
Go Bungee Jumping
Someday I want to?
Learn how to scuba dive!
You have to give up ONE for a whole week, which is it?
Phone
Access to any form of book.
I can't do that, you're crazy!
What is the weirdest place you have ever done the "deed"? (My husband added this.)
The balcony of our suite overlooking the Santorini caldera on my honeymoon. A private hot tub may also have been involved ;)  Talk about story inspiration...it was amazing.

Bulletproof -- Jenna Galicki

 Bulletproof

Bulletproof Series Book 4
Jenna Galicki

Bulletproof Series

Derek MacAlister, the wild one. Known for dancing on table tops, partying too hard and possessing a never-ending thirst for excitement. With his bandmates now settled in committed relationships, he’s the last man standing. The only problem is that he wants to party all night long, but his best friends are content to stay at home. Enter Travis Fontana, a bad boy with a reputation for trouble, and Derek has his partner in crime.
Travis Fontana just scored the gig of a lifetime opening for the nation’s top heavy metal band. He’s a rebel who thrives on pushing the limits of a good time and Bulletproof’s sexy long-haired guitarist, Derek MacAlister, is right by his side to share the fun. Together, they’re double trouble.
But all is not as it seems. Underneath the painted-on smile and carefree exterior that Travis shows the world lies a tortured soul with a dark past. Little by little, Travis lets Derek see a side of him that no one else knows. Derek, unused to the unfiltered raw honesty that Travis shares, finds that he wants to take care of this troubled, vulnerable man and turns out to be Travis’ rock in times of crisis.
When the pressures of new-found fame begin to overwhelm Travis, he quickly starts to unravel. Pushed to the breaking point, it becomes clear that even Derek can’t save him. Travis needs to save himself.

BLOG REVIEW

Bulletproof
Jenna Galicki

Bulletproof Book 4

Derek McAlister’s life has been great.  He worked his butt off to get where he is and he is there with his best
friends, his brothers.  He is content and till Travis Fontana joined their tour he had no clue that he wanted
something more.  Travis is the lead singer for Bulletproof’s opening band Reckless.  His life has been the
complete opposite almost in everything that Derek has had but they both worked hard to get where they are.

Travis has issues that have stemmed from his childhood.  His are some of the most common issues that people
struggle with today and that is stress and pressure.  I connected so much with this character on a personal level.
Jenna did an amazing job of making you feel that same pressure and anxiety that Travis did every time.
It is frightening and till you experience it, you never really know.

Travis is a sweetheart and brings out those same qualities in Derek when they are together.  He didn’t push
Travis besides stating that he was THERE for the support and understood his struggle.  I believe that he slowly
realized just how some relationships can be toxic for someone that is already dealing and can ultimately
smoother you.  This whole book was just so just relatable.

At the base of this book is their growing together but ultimately to me it is about overcoming and finding the right
path you were meant to be on.  Their love story isn’t what I would deem a true rock romance; it is so much
sweeter!  These guys both have their extremely loud rock music at their core but their love is something different,
more lighthearted and less dominating.

This can be read as a standalone but to know the full story of previous couples, you will need to read the
previous books.  This is an M/M romance.

Interview with RB Hilliard

This week we have an author that I have followed since almost the beginning.  Last year, I finally was able to meet her in person at Rebels & Readers in Huntington, WV.  She is an amazing author and extremely interactive with her readers and followers.  I was excited to see her agree to answer these and she did not disappoint. ❤❤

Ladies and Gents, RB Hilliard.

RB Hilliard lives in Charlotte, North Carolina with her husband and two children. In 2012 she began writing His End Game, the first book in her MMG Series. Hilliard has not only published six books in this series, but has gone on to publish Utterly Forgettable, a hilariously funny Romantic Comedy, as well as her Rock Star Romance Series, Meltdown.

What is something that you wish you knew when you first started writing that would have been great to know now?
I knew nothing when I wrote my first book. Looking back now, I would say marketing. I just threw
my book out with no knowledge of how to get it seen, what categories to place it under, or how to
market it.
Have you ever based a character on a real person just so you could decide their fate (whether it be good or bad)?
Yes.
What are three words that would describe your writing style?
Descriptive. Deep. Edgy.
Where is your favorite writing spot?
My bed. I pile up with a million pillows at my back, and go.
What is a must when you are writing? Food? Quiet? A furry friend?
I need quiet. My furry friend snores at the foot of my bed, which forces me to turn on a fan.
What is the most research you have ever had to dig into with a character or plot?
I spoke with a psychologist while writing Dillon's book (MMG 3 - One More Time)
What is the one thing that you have immediately regretted googling when you were researching?

I can't remember the first, but the most memorable was book one of Karina Halle's Artist Trilogy.

Favorite Author(s)?
There are waaaaay to many to name. I'm a huge fan of DB Reynolds, Karen Marie Moning, Kristen
Ashley, JR. Ward, Patricia Briggs, Jodi Ellen Malpas, etc.
A Villain/Bad Guy that you rooted for?
I love a good villain, but only if he's redeemable.
THE book or author that started your dream of writing?
I'm an avid reader - I'm talking since way back in first grade, but I'd have to say the college course
I took on the Brontë sisters probably sparked my interest in writing.
A character that you saw a lot of yourself in?
Piper from Not Letting Go (MMG 2) has my spirit, while Cathryn from Utterly Forgettable has my
sense of humor.
Do you collect paperbacks or do your prefer your kindle?
I do both.
Signed paperbacks, do you read them or are they on the shelf and never opened?
On the shelf.
Pet Peeves?
crunching ice, chomping gum, clipping toenails, interrupting me five million times while I'm trying to
write, snoring...you know, those annoying little things.
Favorite Restaurant that has a drive thru?
Chick-fil-A
Favorite Color?
Blues and grays
Celebrity Crush?
Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Andrew Lincoln, Harry Connick Jr. - just to name a few.

Diesel -- L Wilder

Title: Diesel
Series: Satan's Fury MC #8
Author: L. Wilder
Genre: MC Romance
Release Date: February 6, 2018
Books, Wine, and Time - Diesel is filled with that feeling of unconditional brotherhood, tragedy, and finding that love that is so deserving. 5 Must Read Stars!
Cali Gals - Satan's Fury MC have provided some of my favorite bad boys, and Diesel did not disappoint. He is the right amount of naughty mixed with a heart of gold.
Jenerated Reviews - Once again L. Wilder nails it with Diesel as another member of the Satan's Fury MC finds love through her uniquely insightful and sensitive take on romance!
I may look like the boy next door, but if you mess with someone I care about, I’ll become your worst fucking nightmare.
Ellie:
I never dreamed that I’d end up at a motorcycle club, especially one as notorious as the Satan’s Fury MC, but that’s exactly where I’d found myself. They were supposed to be vicious, cold-blooded killers, but after an accident that nearly took my life, they opened their doors to me, treating me with nothing but kindness.
I was damaged, broken beyond repair, but one man, one tough-as-nails biker, saw past all my scars. With his sinful good looks and intoxicating, green eyes, he could turn the head of any woman, but for me, it was his heart that drew me in.
Diesel:
I should’ve kept my distance, kept my guard up, but Ellie Blackwell had me feeling things I’d never felt before—good things, really fucking good things. There was no way in hell that I was gonna walk away from that. It might’ve been a mistake to get wrapped up in her when there were so many unknowns surrounding her past, but in my gut, I knew she was the one.
I didn’t care what obstacles stood in my way, I was going to make her mine.
Leslie Wilder grew up in a small town in West Tennessee. A country girl at heart, she’s always thought that life is too short, but she had no idea how short it really was until her brother passed away in 2014. She’s always been an avid reader, loving the escape only a great book can give, and wondered if she had what it took to write one of the wild romances she’d come to adore. With the support of her family and friends, she published Inferno: A Devil Chaser’s MC, one year after her brother’s death. With him in mind, she fulfilled her lifetime dream of writing. Since then, she’s completed the Devil Chaser’s Series and continued on with the Satan’s Fury MC Series. She has so many stories in her head, and can’t wait to share each and every one.
Leslie has been blown away by the support of her readers, appreciating every message, review, and encouraging word she’s received over the past year. She looks forward to continuing this journey with them for years to come.
