↭↭PART TWO, Teller’s Story↭↭
↭Autumn Jones Lake↭

When the most toxic people come disguised as family, who can you trust?

Betrayal by blood cuts the deepest.
Teller's found his ride or die girl. The light Charlotte brings to his life has touched the darkest parts of his soul. But a devastating secret from her past resurfaces to threaten their future.

Every truth can be erased with one lie.
When a sinister truth is exposed, it forces Charlotte to question everything about herself. Even whether she's worthy of Teller's love.

The darkest betrayals never come from your enemies.
With Teller's love roaring louder than the lies, Charlotte can finally put her demons to rest. But has too much damage been done for her to prove her loyalty to the Lost Kings?

This is the conclusion of Teller's story. Beyond Reckless should be read first.

↳↳REVIEW↵↵

Marcel “Teller” has always been the one to take care and not be taken care of.  He raised his sister and takes care of his Lost King brothers.  Now, he has someone to take care of him.  Charlotte is no stranger to the MC life but the lifestyle that the Lost Kings live is warming, unlike the MC she grew up around.  Being brought into the world of the Lost Kings by Teller is both a blessing and it places a target on the man the loves but she nor he are about to let go.

In part one of Teller’s story, we learned the how of their relationship.  Now, we are seeing if it can withstand all the secrets and blood that will be spilt.  Charlotte comes clean with Teller about everything even when is brings back the past to present day.  As the previous book in the Lost Kings series, nothing is ever simple.  When the past threatens their future, they fight back.

Teller has always had a seesaw effect with me.  I loved him for a few chapters and then be totally annoyed.  He doesn’t have the best “temperament” with people much like the rest of his brothers and that is the nice way of putting it.  He is a lovable one though, just like Wrath (whom I wanted to smack to the back of the head during some moments).  Finding his forever is a bumpy one.  Charlotte’s uncle is the biggest obstacle but only part of it. The typical drama that seems to be follow the Kings is present.

The whole story is steady paced throughout both part one and part two.  There may be some trigger moments with past abuse but nothing graphic.  The alpha Teller is very present throughout.  Charlotte grows stronger and stronger within herself throughout, learning to let go of the past is a big obstacle and having closure.  That goes for both of them.  Teller has is own demons that he has to beat back.  It is very satisfying to finally have that happily ever after cleared for Teller and Charlotte at the end and finally some answers to the secrets floating around.

This is part of a series and a part two also.  So, it is best to start from the beginning to get the full feel of the world of Lost Kings.

“See,”  Loco says, strolling into the room.  “Told you they’d get along great.  It’s like I got my very own Wrath salt and pepper shakers.”

“That’s my boy.”  I raise a brow.  “You really love her, fight for her.”

His mouth curls into another smirk.  “She’s already way out of your league though, so don’t wait too long.”
