Gold Digger -- RB Hilliard

Blake Moreno doesn’t do relationships, ever.

With more money than he knows what to do with and his pick of beautiful women, he has no plans of becoming tied down.

Hadley Jacobs doesn’t have time for dating.
With plans to finish culinary school and to own her own bakery, she has her life all mapped out.

Blake thinks Hadley is infuriating...

Hadley thinks Blake is controlling...

Both couldn’t be more wrong.

When life throws them a curve ball, they have no choice but to catch it and to prove that in the end, love wins. Every. Time.

-- BLOG REVIEW --

Blake is the definition of what most would consider a “man-hoe”.  He doesn’t do relationships or
commitments but there is just something about Hadley.  His sister’s college best friend has been on
his mind since that one night, one night that changes both of their lives forever.

Honestly, I love anything this lady writes and Gold Digger once again fits in line with that.  Blake
intrigued me from Zane and Cat’s book in Utterly Forgettable. It was one of those characters you
knew that when they fell, it was going to hard.  Hadley has been admiring Blake since she first met
him. He is her best friends brother and she knows his reputation well. Reputation or not, that does
steer her away.  Hadley was a brave heroine but also has her “annoying” quality with jumping to
conclusions. (Side note, her sister and mother drove me batty! How inconsiderate can you be?)

The relationship between Blake and Hadley is definitely a roller coaster ride that will make you wonder
just how their story will play out.  I love the fact that you really can’t pinpoint how everything will play
out and it keeps you guessing on how Blake will go forth with Hadley.  I was quickly turning pages to
see what happened next. Their story is fast paced and will leave you wanting more when you realize
you have turned the last page.

Outside their story is Hunter, a little bit of his story started to play out in this book.  I can’t wait to see
what the future holds for him. It already seems like the drama has taken hold.

This can be read as a standalone but you will find Zane and Cat’s story in Utterly Forgettable.
