Finally it is Teller's turn!
I have had a love hate relationship with Teller throughout the Lost Kings Series. I can fall for him one chapter only to turn the page and curse him. So, I knew it was going to take a special girl to really set him on his a$$. Trust me, this girl does just that and then some.
Beyond Reckless is not necessarily Teller's redemption but helping us understand that he simply speaks before he thinks. There was a whole lot of head shaking and chuckling to see exactly what trouble his mouth got him into. Typical Teller that we have come to know but now we know just how quickly he comes to realize what he just said. His girl though, she gives it right back. She is not a stranger to his world and ways and she knew him before his brooding went off the charts.
If you are already a fan of the Lost Kings, then I don't need to tell you how amazing it is to have Teller's story. This is part of a series so it is best the read in order starting with Slow Burn. Also, this is part one, there is not a huge cliffy but be warned there is a part two. I suggest setting aside a day to read because once you start you won't want to put it down. There were some tears, a lot of chuckles, secrets, and lots of steaminess! Beyond Reckless is perfectly titled. In order for Teller to find his happily ever after, he will have to do everything beyond reckless to hold on to it.
