Fractured Love is and could be labeled solely as a stepbrother romance but is so much more than that. Landon had a no so great start in life, being bounced around from home to home was not ideal. Going to a new school to find a girl that caught his attention only to find that girl is his new stepsister. Then he was placed in that home with her, he felt safe and wanted only to be forced out, it only made him strong and determined. Evie grew up with foster brothers and sisters sharing her home with her. All of them she remembers but only one took a piece of her with them when they left.
Landon and Evie’s story is heartwarming but at the same time it is just as heartbreaking. They knew what they had was real at such a young age but sometimes life doesn’t let you go with easy. Dealing with real life issues pulls you fully into their world and your heart hurts along with them. Liam has a wounded soul that only makes him more lovable and Evie sees clearly through that shield that he puts up. Both together and on their own, they do their best to heal what parts the other breaks.
The second part of the story does have a medical setting and, to myself, this was like season one of Grey’s Anatomy. You know when it was really, really good even though you were really clueless as to what all the medical terms were. Then you have this one flashback moment to George and you are saying “no, no, no…”, good times. Overall, Fractured love is a sweet heart-wrenching stepbrother romance that will fracture your heart and heal it again.
